This was taken in Durham on a recent visit. There is nothing special about the location but it just caught my eye.

its a nice shot but that sky is not helping - I would try using a grad on the shot and seeing if you can lift something from the sky and more from the trees - If I was shooting this I would have gone HDR to pull more from the shadows and maybe squeeze something from the sky

Nice balanced image, Mick, and it's well worth a view on Flickr to see the detail, and the reflection of the bridge is much more visible. But you weren't blessed with great light or sky, were you?

A nice composition of pretty scene As said the light could have been better and HDR may have overcome the brightness of the sky. Basically quite good and, if near Durham again, well worth a revisit.
