I like the composition and processed well, but feel it needs a good push to make it pop a tad more

thanks for looking guys. On reflection it does look a bit flat - in camera HDR, and having put the RAW files through both HDR Efex and Photomatix without any real success, I have tried Color Efex with this result

Second version is much more impacting....in the first it looks so real i could be there - Canon do produce fantastically realistic colours - the second one is more painterly...moving towards an oil pastel effect in my view. There's no right or wrong here....just preference.

OK third one - dark one laid on top of lighter and opacity reduced to around 70%
