    Champagne Pool

Champagne Pool or Artists Palette depending on which sign I read at the Thermal Wonderland "Wia-O-Tapu" near Rotorua on the North Island of New Zealand.

As always your thoughts and C&C are welcome.

Cracking shot, like how it starts in the corner, my only thought is that I would have either moved or cloned out that small stone and that piece of wood? in the water in LH corner, nit picking I know, sorry, I like it very much

Fantastic colours Peter. I recently saw virtually the same shot in a competition and the judge was saying he knew it was taken Iceland as he'd been there!!! Couldn't have been much further away.

Thanks Paul glad you like it.
That stick is the remains of a person with a selfie stick that wouldn't get out of my way so I thought I should leave it in as an act of remembrance

LOL, Iceland! Thanks John. We only called in to get this scene with a bit of blues sky as on our last visit it was an overcast day.

Lovely image, Peter, well composed. I too would remove the stick (I could live with the rock), even if it is an ancient wooden selfie stick.

super image, love your colours and angles which make for a great composition.

I too would do a bit of gardening .............!

                        Re: Champagne Pool

A great shot but I feel the composition would be strengthened by cropping half the sky to focus attention on the pool - and yes, do a bit of gardening

                        Cheers,
                        John
