Albert's Rear and the Natural History Museum

As Brian pointed out the Royal Albert Hall is in close proximity to other buildings on three sides so the previously posted front viewed across Kensington Gore from the Albert Memorial is the one seen most often. I did wonder how I could capture another aspect and this is what I came up with (yes I did 'light the lights' ):

Just around the corner is the Natural History Museum. I didn't have time to look inside but did take this shot of the side facing the Cromwell Road:

excellent work love them both - did you try cropping the 2nd up to the tree rather than seeing all of it, I think that could work better with the tree framing the shot better

Thanks Ian I agree so have replaced it with a cropped version. Funny thing was I did try it with the tree cropped out completely but it didn't work. I suppose that made me blind to the better alternative

Your HDR work gives them a more of a painted look.

Thanks Tom There are so many images online of the same scenes I was trying to produce something different. What HDR Efex produces does polarise opinion but it's where my interest currently lies
