    Temple of Light

I wanted to play around the sun statue on the building and just for a change process it a little darker than it was

Those colums are making my eyes go funnny Ian, especially the left and right outer rows of three, plus the noticable halo's around the roofline, is that caused by some processing that's adding contrast to the sky?

It's a great looking building that makes me want to see it in colour .

      Re: Temple of Light

I can see what you mean about the outer 3 rows they do seem to lean out, I'm pretty sure its just an illusion.. the halo is probably down to the grad filters I used on either side as the sky was basically GREY yuck with a little cloud showing so tried to pull that out.

TBH the halo didn't really bother me in this image is fact I liked the way it pulled the roof from the grey sky

The colour one is boring as its nothing but grey

I can now see why you processed it the way you have in the first image Ian. It is an improvement.

Crikey, Ian, talk about producing a silk purse from a sow's ear (if you don't mind me saying so). For me that would have gone straight into the bin as being irretrievable. I won't say it is your best result ever (the wonkiness of the pillars stops that), but it was worth the effort and is now a keeper.
