That is nice David - a good lead in and enough of the course of the path to make you want to walk down there and see what is round the corner.

I think I would be tempted to crop a small amount off the bottom to lose the bright green clump of grass in the bottom RH corner which I find slightly distracting - this would also give an even better lead in for the edge of the path in the bottom LH corner

A lovely tranquil scene and I agree with John regarding the foreground.

With a scene like this, I used to wait ages to ensure there were no people in the shot, but now I wait ages for a dog walker, or cyclist in the shot to add some scale and human interest. I want them walking (cycling) towards me and press the button when they are on the thirds. Often I have got away with directing them where I want them to stand.

That's a lovely shot Dave, definitely improved by the crop.

Agree. Now you need to return early morning, to get rays of sunshine filtering through

John, what sun? We haven't seen the sun for over a week, yesterday was the only dry day we have had, this is Perthshire.

Well seen and photographed, the crop is perfect.
