    That Tree

    Well, I couldn't come all this way without photographing That Tree at Buttermere. Trouble getting there from Ambleside, had to use a single track gated road. The light was poor and it was really windy so I couldn't do a full LE image; the tree was blurred. So this is standard capture blended with LE of the lake. Only have my laptop here so will probably tweak this when I'm back

                      Very nice shot. Was up there in April but that stretch is fenced off in Spring/early Summer because of the nesting birds (Sandpipers I think).

                          lovely shot Tony just a little bit undecided whether the sliver of grass along the bottom is too little or perhaps less sky to balance the tree more - if I scroll up to lose half the sky composition seems better
