    The Lighthouse

I do love a good lighthouse but most around here are pretty naff. This one however was a gem so waited for the sunset, sadly the bad weather that had been following me caught me again and just after taking this shot it started to rain AGAIN !!! ideally I would have liked a little more time, but had to make do, although I am pleased with it

Saw that first on FB Ian. It's a real cracking image. Love the soft light and the 5 seconds exposure has produced an excellent flat sea.

      Re: The Lighthouse

cheers Tony with so many views was questioning this image thinking it was a fail... Glad you took the time to comment and liked it which does mean a lot from a landscape tog

The flat sea was actually a 20sec exposure as I used another image for the sea alone

                  Re: The Lighthouse

Lovely, Ian. Got to ask though, the lights in the bay window and porch, real or added? I only ask because they look real but they provide such perfectly placed points of interest across the scene I get suspicious...
