Nicely spotted but it's not really doing it for me. I think it's a little too well hidden, despite the path leading up. A blue sky and/or just better light would have helped I think. Perhaps you could add a ray of sunlight beaming down to it too

      Re: Forgotten Church

thanks Chris. I did try to pull the church up a bit but I didn't want to do it too much - a nice sky would have helped a lot, but no chance as it was grey and raining

as for a sunray I think I would be crucified in the group LOL

I like the colouring but the dark edges have a real impact on it.

Can I be cheeky and suggest a closer crop?

                  Hi DG

Cheers for the feedback - the dark edge would be the vignette I used - I'm not sure about the crop as it would loose the plant life around it and could just turn it into a very grey dull photo, but I'll have a look anyways

Not sure I understand your second comment ...confused also LOL

                  But thanks for the feedback

Sorry on my first post it looks completely different to me. I'm assuming it's something wrong with how tapatalk is set up on my tablet.

so basically taking some of the top and side .. but do you not think that crop makes it feel a bit un balanced ?

It could do. I guess it's different how everyone looks at an image. For me you have strong verticals with the church balanced by the strong greens and arching leaves of the planting. With the pathway leading you from left to right past the green deep colours into the golden colour of the church.

However, I'm struggling with the processing making it so grainy and feel more conventional processing (if that exists within the Tigger repertoire ) would be an improvement. Gothic is good but this one isn't doing it for me. Sorry
