    Spiral Tower

Gave up trying to sort the verticals LOL... given a softer look to make it a little fairy tale look

Hmm, I think I'll have to come back to this one Cracking piece of architecture, I love the composition, not straightening the verticals is fine by me and I generally like the processing. What does trouble me and that I've yet to come to terms with is the softness and shadowy nature as its obscuring lots of lovely texture especially on the left. There's also a fair amount of un-Tigger-like halo on the tower.

    Cheers,
    John

cheers the softness and shadowy was the look I was going for which I knew wouldn't please all but for me it worked with the content of the photo and even the slight halo

Another stunning structure which suits your processing. I would consider desaturation of the dark blue in the sky, just a bit mind, as it seems a odds with the blue of the sky to the bottom right of the tower. I can’t remember ever seeing an external staircase

Cheers Peter glad you enjoyed it - yeah I can your point of the blue sky. The weather was totally against me at this location and I needed decent blue skies but most of the time it was either grey or heavy rain. This shot I returned to due a VERY brief bit of blue sky, probably the reason I left it in the bottom corner

Very nicely processed Ian as you did indeed create the fairy tale look.
