    The Big Apple (bitten)

Those who know and love the Swansea and Gower area of South Wales will probably know the "Big Apple" ice-cream/bucket and spade kiosk at the top of Bracelet Bay. It was hit by a car a few weeks back and looks in quite a sorry state -

Hope it is repaired - must have been an interesting car insurance claim - "I took the corner too fast and crashed into a big apple...".

I think the Apple dates from the 1920s, created as an advertising thing for a fruit juice company. I don't think it was expected to last as long as it did.

    Cheers, Chris.

I guess that's taken a bite out of their profits for the rest of the year then :-)
I actively encourage constructive comment & critique of any image I post!
Feel free to edit & re-post as you see fit - but please - tell me what you have done to 'improve' the shot!

Yes, I suppose it will strike at the core of their business.

Good time, recently, for things not being as they should be around Swansea Bay - this boat seemed to be burrowing after lugworms -
