    Cornwall Trip

    Hi Everyone

Was in Cornwall the other week (Mullion Cove).
    Had a great time.
The weather was a bit misty & overcast for the first few days.
    Took these two............
Both taken with 550d and 17-40L

Would appreciate any comments that you may have.

    Thanks

I do like a nice black and white..

I think your horizon is off in number one... but I do like the movement you've caught in it.

      Re: Cornwall Trip

      Haven't been there for years!
I like 1 better than 2 personally. I like the motion in the water from the long exposure, although I do think the horizon is little tilted and I mite have moved the crate first, or cloned it off.
very effective shot though, especially in b&w.

Please bare with me on replies to your comments as my work commitments keep me away from here during the week.
All of your comments and advice are gratefully received and appreciated though

I agree with Dee & David
Wonky horizons are something to watch for when taking sea or lanscapes.
An ND grad may have helped to prevent the blown sky.
Also I would have got rid of the pallet.

#2 is a good record shot. It will remind you in years to come of the poor weather you had on the day

I don't object to some shoreline debris.
Had it been an old rope or bouy it would have been acceptable for me but not a pallet I'm afraid.
            Still, each to their own

Round the South coast there are a lot of pallets in the sea

South Coast "pirates" have nicked the goods of the pallets and cast them adrift.....
