    Early morning view across to Portland from the castle

    The sky was overcast from the overnight rain and the visiblilty was poor but the wind had died right down

      I suspect it is the polarisor? This was nearly straight into the sun

            Not to worry ... I tend to look at the sky (more than most) for strange cloud formations etc ...

              doesn't detract anything from the shot for me, tremendous photo Brian, really nice.
