      Agreed.


      Just imagine if they were building it today... lots of scaffolding, cranes and men in hard hats and visibility jackets...

        Well there are plans again to remove the road, car park and visitors centre and move them a 1 mile away. So there will be all that stuff around the site Di. Not sure what happened to the tunnel scheme that was being considered when I lived down that way. I guess the Head Druid will be fighting the corner for free access.

          There is a tunnel now, and they charge 7.50 to go see it.

              Not a single japanese tourist in sight
              I think images of the henge work better when you have the whole circle and shot early or late in the day - no, I cant get up that early or stay that late myself
