Portland Bill

Nothing happening with wildlife around here at the moment, it's the time of the summer lull. So, with no wildlife to play with, I thought I would take a few landscape "snaps" and tootled off to Portland Bill.

I experimented a bit with the "Stoppers" on this one. The Big Stopper was a bit too much and made the sea range from milky to misty. The little stopper worked best with this scene and a 2sec exposure gave some movement in the sea, without going over the top. A 0.6 soft neutral grad at the top held in the sky and that's it ....... job done!

Not to mention the 40 odd shots I experimented with using different Stoppers, Grads and polarisers, but it's all useful experience of which combinations work well together.
