In reply to my original thread DougZ asked if I had any more image from the day. I did have some, in fact probably sufficient for another three new posts!
In this post I will start at the beginning, as in reality the stepping stone sign in my previous thread would have been the middle of our little stroll around Egton Bridge.
To be continued as it seem that there is a limit to the number of images that can be added to a post.
#1 St.Hedda Primary school which was originally built as a chapel.
#2 A gate that caught my eye as I was walking towards the river, it was the moss/lichen for me that makes this image
#3 The post adjacent to the gate image above, it must have had a notice of some sort attached to it.
#4 Looking back towards the start point of the stroll showing a rather muddy river Esk taken from the road bridge from which the village probably gets its name.
#5 The dappled sunlight hitting this large fir tree was the focal point for this image, the horse didn't want it picture taken
