    Rainbow Mountain in New Zealand

    My Wife & I finally made the 1.5 hour (each way) hike up Rainbow Mountain, which sits
    on the main road between Rotorua & Taupo in the North Island of New Zealand.

                      Thank you all - as long as you keep encouraging me, I'll keep taking & posting them!!
                      David: It's named Rainbow Mountain due to it being an active volcano & one side of it that has no flora growing is (supposedly) multi-coloured - hence the Rainbow name.
                      In truth, it doesn't look like that to me, it looks like a muddy shade of red & certainly not worthy of posting here.
