    Out of the darkness............

    ............ and into the light.

Our garden has many wild patches and this morning I noticed that the sun was striking a path through a gap and onto part of the jungle. It struck me that this might well be an allegory of our times - hoping for some light at the end of the tunnel.

I'm not sure it quite works (I'm aware it is fairly dark overall, but that's the point) and would welcome any suggestions.

I think it works quite well drawing the viewer in to the shot, I wonder what it would look like from a lower view point?

John, I missed this one. Yes it works, your garden like mine have many dark and shaded area's. Why lighten them, it becomes something its not.
