Not as pretty to look at as the wood type.

But these breakwaters have been there some time.. I do like the green algae that seems to be colonising them its probably the only reason why I left this colour rather than going the black and white route.... but they don't seem to stand up to the waves as good as the wood ones... they tend to crack.. as seen rather than bend a little with the heavy water.

I think this would work better if you shot towards the water rather than away from it

You know, now that I think about it, I never saw it from the other side... I was to busy thinking about going for a paddle and watching the dog. LOL! Next time I go I'll walk at the top of the beach and look from the other side towards the sea.
