    A Tour of Lewis

These images were all taken on the same day on a trip to the Uig area of the Isle of Lewis. I hope you enjoy the little tour.

As always your thoughts and comments welcomed.

#1 I was intrigued by the stone work at the bottom left obviously man made but I'm at a loss to know what its purpose was. I was of a circular construction and it looked like the roof had collapsed some time ago.

#2 Mangersta Beach with a looking stormy sky.

#3 Carnish the road didn't go much further (camera left) than where the image was made. There's a larger version on my website if anyone wishes to have a peek.

#4 Uig Beach, probably known more for the Viking Chess set that were found in the dunes in the mid 1800's.

Peter this is a great tour, wonderful day too. Really like the color of the water not what I would have expected for Scotland, thanks for sharing.
