    Moorland Setting Sun

An image from a scouting trip for some potential Milky Way images. It would have been rude not to make an image or two whilst I was there scouting, especially when I saw how the grass was being highlighted .

    #1 Original image

#2 Additional Image, from the same evening slightly later, looking in the same direction. But with a different composition.

Last edited by ST-EOS; 20-08-2022, 08:00. Reason: Additional image added to original post.

The stones (six in total) with two of them in the image well spotted Trev, are apparently Way Markers that date from the 18th century.
They are alongside the road between Egton Bridge and Stape. The road itself has Roman origins. Towards the Stape end of it there's an Roman ancient monument site looked after by English Heritage.
