We had a trip up to Monte on the cable car the other day. I thought you may like a virtual trip too, I hope you enjoy the ride 
1. The church at Monte, sadly we couldn't take the toboggan trip back down to Funchal as it was Sunday. The Bride was extremely pleased about that.
2. it took some time to get the steps reasonably free of foot traffic. Including two young ladies who were constantly taking mobile phone images of each other, then checking their results, rearranging their hair styles and repeating the exercise!
3, Returning to Funchal on the cable car, I was surprised to spot the two men descending down the tower. Note the cruise liner below them.
4. The Artania in for a quick visit before heading for somewhere in the Caribbean. No passengers in the gondola but potentially around 1500 on the Artania.
