    Skye - by appointment

Seeing you all have been keeping me impressed with great pictures I felt I needed to make some extra effort

I had to go down to Broadford for an appointment which only lasted fifteen minutes and it was a day of mixed weather so I put the gear in the car. If I have to drive 30 miles to get there I might as well make the most of it a go a little further..

Business completed I drove down to Sleite and took the switch back loop road through Ord and Tokavaig, which in itself is an interesting drive, and hoped for some photo opprtunities or sightings of winter bird visitors. Spotted a very distant Great Northern diver.
Got a shot from Ord with the Cuillin covered in cloud.

On the way home the Totternish ridge had some nice sky so a short turn off down the road to Moll.

Nice images, not yet processed my images from our Skye trip a few weeks ago. Stay in Broadford and can look over the bay from the accommodation. Also saw GND and a flock of 20 or so Brent geese.

Two wonderful shots, looking at the forecast for the coming week you may struggle to repeat these. Have a nephew who has come up from Cornwall to Skye to sea fish, think he may struggle this week also.

Two great shots. The light in the first is particularly dramatic.

                      Thank you all.

Sometimes I'm just lucky with the conditions.
