After our dreadful weekend of 48 hours of non stop rain, this is what the rugby and football pitches in North Inch Park in Perth looked like when the River Tay burst through. Fire Service still pummping water out of the streets on the far side.

that looks a serious amount of water to be removed and I guess will leave the pitch a trifle on the soggy side for a bit.

Sadly the river didn't burst through, some half wit at the council didn't get the gates closed on the multi £million flood defences, the council could be facing litigation over this.
