Some of you may remember that last year I posted images of a sunrise on Madeira.
I had problems with lots of banding in those images, that I thought may have been caused by interference from the local military communication systems that are located on Pico Areeiro. I decided to have a revisit to create some more images at the high peak to see if I could overcome the banding issue.
Whilst my hope/plan would include a cloud inversion, sadly it was not to be.
As always your thoughts and comments welcome.
1. This years trip up the mountain, produces this scene, sadly no cloud inversion but sufficient cloud on the horizon to mask the sunrise. Though the weather conditions did allow me to see down in to the valleys and also see the Ponta de Sao Laurence that was in my recent post "LINK" looking beyond the airport.
2. Last years sunrise posted for comparison, I was at a slightly different higher position in 2022 but you should be able to see the same railings and other people hoping to see a sunrise in both images.
