    Oare Creek in the evening

These were taken last night down Oare Creek in Kent, I will have to go back again when the tide is in.

I like them both but prefer #2. Don't know why... just 'feels' right.

Thnaks Sandra, the colours on the forum for some reason seem to have a blue tinge which is not on my monitor at home but of the 2 it is my favourite as well

The sky is nice in #1, in fact I might have made more of it and reduced the forground a little, but, #2 is my fav.

Thanks Ray, I looked at cropping #1 so that the horizon was on the 1/3 line but left it as iut was due to the fact that the mud in the foreground was actually the Oare Creek when the tide was out. Looking at it again I agree with you that chopping the bottom of does give a better image.

I like the first one. the contrast with the sky is very dramatic.
