      Hi Nigel. Both shots look a little soft to me as if the shutter speed wasn't quite fast enough to freeze the motion and the aperture wasn't quite small enough to get enough of the subject in focus. It looks like you could have used a sunnier day or dialed in a higher ISO to get out of this pickle.

        Certainly could have done with a brighter day, heavy, overcast, rain wind...you name it .... sun... what's that?

          Sun usually only comes out when I remember to take an umbrella along. It disappears as soon as I put the umbrella away though.
