    Brinkburn Priory-Northumberland

Canon 400D + Tokina 12-24 f2.8 @ 12mm. Nominal 2s @ f16 on tripod. HDR image created in Photomatix. The Priory is only in occasional use & when I visited there was no artifical lighting. Consequently there is a wide contrast ratio between the windows and floor. Under natural lighting the interior is very dark and the wonderful tiles on the floor are hidden in the gloom. I think this makes an ideal application for HDR and here the floor tiles burst into life. Cheers, Bill

Good colours there - did you do it from a single RAW exposure, or did you bracket exposure in the camera?

Hi Rob, thanks for your comments. In-camera bracketing used. Cheers, Bill
