    Theatre night

Had to cover a local Theatre production,so was well out of my comfort zone.
Was asked to do some backstage shots as well as the performance. The thought of having to use a flash for the backstage shots filled me with the usual fear! Thankfully things went OK and was more than happy with the results.

    #1 backstage shot with 430EX II flash.lens 24-105mm

#2 shot from the performance, No flash just hand held.lens 100mm

I suspect they are highly delighted.

Always remember that regardless of how much you are concerned and out of your comfort zone, your worst results are significantly better than their best results. Their expectations are inevitably based on their best results, therefore any improvement you provide exceeds their expectations.

Still right to be concerned, that keeps you thinking things through and improving.

      Thanks Colin

I do need to push myself into doing different events, but i do worry how they'll turn out, as I've no real experience in doing this kind of work.Usually just turn up to commercial events cross my fingers and think the next hour will make or break me. Well I'm still going so can't be doing to bad.And as you say the more you do the more you improve.
