    Wireless Triggers

    Hello
I have a Canon 5D MK11 and Bowens Esprit Gemini pre digital.
I have tried to fire the Bowens using the Canon ST-E2 Speedlite Transmitter, unfortunately when it sends out the preflash it sets off the Bowens.
I have tried the PC sync cable, but not secure enough at the camera end.
Would the Yongnuo RF 602/C be the answer.

    If not any suggestions.

    Best regards Terry Pritchard

    Re: Wireless Triggers

I have just bought the 603s, and, although I can't comment on your specific setup, I know they come with all the cords and cables to do it. With speedlites they work great, that I can confirm!

      Re: Wireless Triggers

I have used the 602's with my friends studio lights (sorry don't remember which make) and they work fine. So I would expect the 603's to work exactly the same. I can confirm that the 602's work with all the flashes I have thrown at them.

        Re: Wireless Triggers

Thinking of buying a set for my 650D and yn467. Do you know if the inbuilt wireless trigger on the 650D well for the 603 unit?

Digiman and colin many thanks for your help. On closer inspection the pc socket has a thread hence the insecurity. I will go with the RF 602/C

            Re: Wireless Triggers

Just for your information, the 603s are the 602 upgrades, the difference being that the 602s have a seperate transmitter that fits on the hotshoe, sending a signal to each reciever, whereas each unit with the 603s are tranceivers, making each unit a little more flexible. Then, you probably already knew that

              Re: Wireless Triggers

Well the in built trigger controller on the 650d doesn't fire the yn603 but they do work very well in there own right.

Another set, and two yn467's now on order.
