On Camera Flash - enhancing the ambient light

Couldn't make up my mind where to post these, so they are also in the Mono thread.

Here are some efforts of using flash with daylight to give a hopefully subtle but interesting effect.

The 600ex-rt was mounted on the hot shoe and was used directly or bounced around depending on the effect required.

All of the images were edited entirely with Lightroom.

I hope you like them and can see the (subtle!) effect.

It makes it "just enough" extra light giving those touches of illumination. Processing suits the photos very well.

Great images in their own right, with strong composition and subject matter, but the extra lighting control keeps some detail in the shadows and a full range of tones.
