    2 Flash portrait

This is a typical portrait using 2 flash guns. There was very little ambient light

1 flash shooting through an umbrella - giving good soft light from the side

1 flash on a flash bracket through a diffuser - giving a fill flash from the front

Controlled by a ST-E2 so the the flash ratio is 2:1 for the side:front

    Re: 2 Flash portrait

There is detail in both the shadows and highlights so nothing is blown out that I can see. The shadows give depth to the image which works really well.

      Hi Brian.

      Nice portrait! I like it.

No blown areas on my UN-calibrated monitor! As Petros says, both shadows and highlights seem to be managed well, and I can see detail in the light and shaded areas!

(He could do with borrowing my nose hair clippers though! lol.)

      All the best, Mike.
