Just a quick post of an image from recent trip to Iceland.

Aurora was good even if foreground wasn't, haven't done anything to image as yet.

Was a great experience. Can imagine its a subject that could be very compulsive as its so variable.

Was hard to divide attention between experience and taking photographs.

Just looking at trip to see total solar eclipse. Best option is March 2015 and visit to Faroe Islands.

Wow, great images, I especially like the first one!

I clone-out that obtrusive brightly lit post at the lower right foreground though, my eye keeps being drawn to it.

Need to sort and tweak the images from Iceland somehow not found time since return.

Isn't photography great, everyone can have different views on an image.

Would have liked to have been somewhere that was a better location but just glad to have seen the spectacle.

Something I've always wanted to see, and I will. The first is cool but, the 2nd is very ghostly, you can see why the Norsemen believed in a Valhalla.
