    Re: Keep out

Sorry Ian, but that fencing isn't working for me, and if there was a cloud, moon, or sun in the sky would give the image a focal point. As composed the eye goes off into the blue empty sky.

Following Toms comment, it might look better with the sky cropped so that the vegetation is in the top right corner

Cheers for the feedback Stan -

I did consider cropping the sky but didn't want a letter box photo and whilst some nice fluffy clouds would have worked well it was clear blue skies, in fact it was 21 and I was down to a t-shirt at 3900 mts above sea level at that location.

Yes think this would benefit from a better sky mate. The ramshackled fence I like but the single chain leading in needs to go.

In my view the chain is too stark against the white.

Top marks for dedication though mate. Did the wife laugh?

OK the chain I could loose and I'll have a look at that tomorrow

and yes she did laugh and was gutted she didn't have her camera with her - I got my own back as later that day higher up she went head over... So funny walking in it one moment your walking along dropping in a a few inches then suddenly you drop knee deep or just fall flat on your face ;o) ... crazy to think all this 4hr drive from me

                        Re: Keep out

I am going to be contrarian... I love the contrast of the brilliant blue sky with the snow. I also like the contrary swooping lines of the fence/chain and the skyline.

You could put in some fluffy clouds, but hey, over here we have had little enough blue sky! I reckon there is an element of jealousy on Tom's part having seen photographs of the snow he has cleared!!!

thanks Richard - I did consider some fluffy clouds but I just like the plan blue sky ...

I did try the crop Alan suggested not sure about it
