Given the scene with the dark foreground you've done well to retain detail through the window Ian. Was it bracketed or in camera HDR

Given the conditions mate, yes you got away with it. In fact the soft dreamy look of the background adds to the overall feel of the image.

So, where can I get me one of your skeleton keys then lol
