    The Bridge

I posted a slightly different viewpoint a few weeks ago, this is one I never processed but I like this as you can see the bridge ...just a shame no fast stream under it, but it looks like its been dry for a long time

and no I didn't get a soaking, but it was a close call ;o)

Great detail, and I like the stormy/menacing sky.

Nice composition, great sky well done for getting out of the car Ian. The glow under the bridge seems at odds with the other lighting across the scene IYSWIM.

My thought too before even reading your comment Peter.

Ian: I like the subject and composition a lot also the lighting of the subject but the shadows suggest the sky, especially in the top left, should be far more friendly. Is that the sky the camera saw at the time?

              Cheers,
              John

maybe the detail in the bridge has been pulled up a tad too much, but that sky is the one in the camera

                  Update - Bridge Gate

I've just had a look at the original image and the extra light under the bridge is lighter cement thats been used to I presume the bridge was repaired at some stage

Great image Ian, you have finally found the road that is "paved with gold". Only the master could find and photo it, hey.

I love the overall shot, great lead with the path but perhaps pull the light from under the bridge a little
