    Parade time pt 1

I have a few of these so if I bore you I'm sorry - Taken at one of the parades here last weekend

Getting decent photos is never easy at these events due to being 5 deep crowds and in my case sweating like crazy as it was 30 in the old town, I really don't know how they do it ....

I wanted to get some close ups so used the 70-200 which I knew would cut some of the outfits off, but to get detail in the faces I had too, plus it gave me a chance to loose the background shotting at 2.8

That is an excellent set Ian, worth losing a bit to gain the detail, first one is the pick of the bunch for me. Great job.

        Nice series Ian [emoji106]

Apparently you can see sights like this in Newcastle Big Market on Friday/Saturday night. Usually the horse has a policeman astride it [emoji6]

A wonderful set and what a cracking lens that is

It really does show just how far carnivals in this country have to go.

                      Cheers,

thanks John - for me the sad thing about the UK is its lost its FUN... at this parade we had horses running past us within feet of me, people walking around with fire and even bird of prey flying around, all the time we were just standing by the side watching...H&S has killed the fun in the UK

but I'm glad you enjoyed the set and I'll post the last set tomorrow as I know sets here really don't get any interest
