    Window with a view

Again looking for different shots whilst walking around cloisters I saw this and thought it would make an interesting show

I do love the DoF of the 11-24 - taken at F4 and 11mm

the lens is excellent, one of the best I've got - it would live on the camera all the time if it wasn't so big and heavy.. I am starting to wonder why they have an option to step down as you really only need shoot at F4 :)

LOL... I get by with it, glad you liked the shot Brian

Like that Ian - that is becoming my favourite lens I don't own. One small thing - do you think the blacks on the round stone around it's circumference and base need a little attention? It's hard to describe but the colour and contrast on the stone walls of the arch/window are strong but a bit weak on the circular stone. Anyway - I know what I mean

thanks Tony ... if your into landscape its a must own lens

the dark bit, yes I know what you mean and I did look at them, but decided to leave alone as its just heavy shadow - I could do some work to remove it but I do quite them

That was F4!! Wow, that lens has gotta be on my must have list.

The heavy stone in the foreground is a great focal point and leads my eye into the shot. Excellent Ian
