    Very Wide Church

taken at 11mm as I didn't have any space and wanted to get all the church in - the lens did well and with some vertical corrections I think I got away with it ...:)

    so views ?

Also should I have posted this in the birds section

Something's not quite right - it looks to me like M. C. Escher might have taken it

Perhaps the correction is a tad overdone?

      Re: Very Wide Church

Should definitely have been under BIF as the church is a distraction from the main subject!

More seriously, I wonder what the result might have been shooting a pano at 24 rather than a single at 11? I think both you and the lens have done an excellent job with the verticals - just wondering how a 24 pano would have compared ...

thanks for the feedback and will be interested to hear what others think - I quite liked the look it has with the church offering a very dominating viewpoint

It is a nice shot - no debate there and the verticals are well handled. The reason for suggesting the 24 pano was to try and ease the angle between the two walls which presumably is 90 in reality. Might not make much difference but worth the exercise in my opinion ...

I like it, Churches are meant to be imposing buildings and that is doing just that

The verticals may be a tad converging but you know what, I don't care and like it as it is. Too shot mate
