    Devils Bridge (cumbria)

    first day out without crutches, which i won't be doing again as foot kills today took this shot in the form of a HDR
    it was taken at Kirby lonsdale's devils bridge

      didn't get to try as with my healthy brother in law who like chips? it did smell nice when i walked past, will be going back up there once i can drive again

        Nice walking country. Yes that mobile foodery is rather tempting!

        Reminds me to try the bridges from river level next time.

        I'd ease off slightly with the HDR ... it's (IMHO) just a tad overcooked [on the RHS river bank] ... but that's just me.

                That's much better (for me!) as you can see the nice colours of the bricks in the bridge.

                I guess HDR is like Marmite ... an art friend of mine totally overcooks his ... in the interest of art. I've played with the new HDR feature in DPP and am having trouble getting something that looks (to my eyes) 'right'. Guess that's HDR

                  I would download HDRsoft and have a play with it, they do have some good pre settings for easy on the eye to the very over cooked compared to my first posting will post one of the grunge settings
