    Amlwch

Led a 10 mile walk on Anglesey on a splendid day (more so after the wit & wendy weather we have had). Just one route closed (it had gone 'Private').

    1. Parys Mountain

The Copper dug by hand from here went on to cover the bottoms of our naval ships in the Nelson era.

    2. Port Lynas

    3. A distant ship's smoke on the horizon

You are only coming through in waves

    4. Amlwch Old Port

There's a sort of U-boat pen look to these

    5. Grab shot

As we neared the end of the walk, this old Austin appeared and grabbed a quick shot

    6. The Route

    As usual my 40D plus 17-40L. Typically 200ISO, f5.6 1/1250.

Feel free to point out narrative or technical blunders.

Thanks for stopping by and looking

Very nice set again. You've got to love that "WENDY" weather from Wales.
    Thanks again for sharing.
    Cheers

can't believe how clear the water is. You can see the rocks underneath.

Thanks David and Di. The sea was really like that ... quite amazing from some angles.
