    In all its Glory

    A recent visit to South Queensferry to see the Forth rail bridge without its coat of scaffolding. A paint job that will last 10 years apparantly.

    Great angle on that for strong composition.

    It looks good in its red oxide primer ............... when will they paint the top coat?

      It sure is Red, I bet the decorators are Glad they aren't up there every day now.

        I am not sure sure.

        They did have a job for life, plus danger money and not too many "suits" would leave their comfy airconditioned offices to keep looking over their shoulders.

        Now they take them out of a cupboard and dust them off every 10 years or so.
