        Very crafty and arty! I hve seen some similar work here and there- Symmonds Yat for example; there is a tree stump on to which are carved images of birds of prey! Thanks for sharing. Will keep a look ot for these on my next visit to Cumbria.

          I do like these woodland carvings, we have them at Dinmore Arboretum and (as Nat says) at Symonds Yat.
