    Ingleton

Yesterday was an 11.5 mile stroll in North Yorkshire on a splendid autumn day. Apart from the normal masses on the 'Waterfall Trail' and a few pot hole folk it was very quiet.

    1. Ingleton Railway Viaduct (a Grade II listed building) ... pity you can't walk over it (rails have long gone)

    2. Surprise view of The Lakeland Fells

    3. Ingleborough (2372')

    4. Tree (pity about the cable but it was there)

    5. Another view of Ingleborough

Vapour trail on purpose. Flare accidental but left it in.

    6. The Route

    Typically 100-ISO f/5.6 1/640

    40D and 17-40L

Fell free to report any technical or narrative blunders.

    Thanks for stopping by.

Nice to see "blue" sky instead of the rain clouds.

Not sure why but I can't see number 1, like the rest though, particularly 2 and 5 with the stone walls, lovely colours, especially the blue skies.

          Regards Paul

Glad that normal service has resumed.... great to see the blue skies.... 11.5 mile stroll..... now that is just nonsense and a bit like saying Army Intelligence.

Great shots showing what this island has to offer away from the cities.
