Humber Bridge + Skidby Mill at Night

Hi All,

Something I don't do very often is night photography. A favourite structure of mine is the Humber Bridge, so I thought I'd try something different. Skidby Mill is another place of interest. Unfortunately the mill was pointing in about the worst position to get a good picture. Got slightly wet feet - must remember to pack a torch next time I decide on doing some night time stuff!

There's something other worldly about Windmills at night ... so like #1 best. Is that Orion behind ... I'm squinting and thinking - real astronomers will doubtless put me in my place

Very nice Neil, love the bridge shots, I keep telling SWMBO we must go up there, it is only about 45 mins from here, I would like to get a misty shot of it with just the towers poking out.

Nice shots of the bridge, love the cloud movement due to long shutter speed along with the bridge lights star effect.

2nd mill shot and the last of the bridge shots for me, love the low view point and the weather actually helped I think.

I took this picture of the Bridge on Christmas Eve - I did hope to have a nice red sunset, but the sun disappeared behind cloud.

It's the second to last for me. Excellent composition and light. I have not attempted much photography at night but it is something to add to the list of "give it a go".
