A wander around Harty Ferry in Kent

I decided to take a walk around Harty Ferry bird sanctuary as the big bright thing in the sky showed itself for a while yesterday. I only tooke the 5D3 and 400mm f5.6 with me plus, thick socks, fleece, coat, gloves etc.

    C&C welcome

Just goes to show what a great lens that 400L f/5.6 is.

Nice images 'Laura' being the pick of the bunch. The duck if I'm not mistaken is a Wigeon

Another vote for 'Laura' although a close call with the ducks coming in a very close second

                      Very very nice Ian.
The detail in each shot is superb. The 5Diii and that lens is a cracking combination.

Thanks for the comments and ID Dave.

David's, and Paul thanks for looking and taking the time to comment.

Now I have managed to sort the micro adjust for the focus on the 400 f5.6 with the 5D3 it is a cracking lens, when I first got it I couldn't get a good image and found that on my camera I had to mciro-adjust the focus by +8 to get it right.
