    Kettlewell

Passport and Visa in order we enter Yorkshire ...

Another visit to popular Kettlewell. I wasn't leading this one. The intent was to do Buckden Pike (2303') or at least the monument to Wellington N2848 (w/o 30-Jan-1942) ... but snow meant another route was chosen. This one being just 9 miles.

Quite cold, poor weather most of the time, but when things lit up the glare was quite amazing. A few other people out. Too cold at times to feel inspired (or to be able to operate the camera) so apologies if these don't come up to muster.

    Thanks for stopping by.

I feel cold and tried just looking at these. Hope you had time for a hot cup of Java.

Nice series even in the cold MX5

I like 2 and 4 MX, #3 looks a bit dark on my Monitor, the Tractor definitely adds to #2

Nice refreshing pics but the snow puts me off. I think I will vote for #2 as the red tractor draws me to it.

              Thanks everyone.

The bright sky, reflections off snow and everything else dark pushed the 40D (not enough DR?) and even if I used Grads I doubt one would helped.

Like the 4th image the best, looks even better without the sky in it.
