Diverse trip Merthyr via Pontstickle to Talybont on Usk

Reflecting on a recent trip I realised just how diverse the area was. The area also boasted a steam railway shots for this already posted.

Tin Church(chapel)

7D,10-20mm @14mm ISO100 F10 1/160sec. This tin building was in bright pink I think B & W was doing it a favour!!

Don't you mean Pontsticill instead of Pontstickle?

Your getting closer to Hereford Alun.
I know this area quite well and have photographed the narrowboats on the canal at Talybont-on-Usk.

Yes I do mean pontsticill Stephen just to lazy to look up what I already know to be the wrong spelling. I recall you mentioned a desire to visit the reservoir, the water level was down, so besides the weather it appears rainfall is another consideration before visiting!

Wow 35 years to visit Caerphilly castle and you were born within 5 miles of it.
There's lots of places near here that I have not visited or have not discovered yet.

Nice shots. I've spent quite a bit of time roaming the hills around Talybont and stayed at the White Hart(?) pub's bunkhouse.
