Dramatic Glasgow Necropolis - HDR type

I know this isn't going to appeal to everyone and I know that highlight toning and HDR stuff is a little bit ewww sometimes, but I just got Photoshop CS6 and I'm having a blast with it :)

    Two photo composite.

    Sunset from Aug 2012
Foreground from Glasgow Necropolis taken in Aug 2012 too.
    Birds added for drama.

    Done using these two images

It's my way of over dramatising Glasgow as it's pretty boring and grey most of the time.

Now that I look at it, the birds look totally photoshopped in lol - oh well

    Cheers :)

Nice Photoshopping to combine the images. Just a bit over the top on the HDR for me.

Now that would make an album cover ... splendid ... but for which group ...

Glasgow boring! Nah I like the place.

Must admit it was grey when I stopped there last November on the way to Skye. Most of the images I took were rather uninspiring.

Whatever we might think about the final image its nice to have a tinker with the features in PS.

Actually don't dislike it but might agree a bit OTT:)

Very Gothic. Leave the Birds in and add a dark cloaked figure

lol Yes its very OTT to be honest. I could use it for my bro's band "The Dead Generals" next album cover lol

I loved the trip to the RSPB centre today, and I got my 17-85 fixed :D happy day

Not really my thing but you've done a good job. Always good to experiment. Looks to me like a line of lava flowing from the left hand memorial, which may be a bit concerning to the good people of Glasgow!

For some reason FLickr upload has made it look awful. The original is a lot more subtle on the sharpness and more natural looking. It's almost Apocalyptic lol
