    Glasgow West End, Instagram style in Lightroom

    I managed to figure out how the whole Instagram thing is done in Lightroom 4.4 just using the Tone curve and Split Toning sections. I went out to take some shots that I thought would suit this style, and here is the result.

    It represents quite a shift in my usual editing style of sharpness and utter contrast and tonal range, however, I really love this style and I'm glad I edited them like this.

    No 2 for me Paul, I think the subjects suits the style quite well.

        Agree, second is a peach, all 3 suit the style.

          Paul, all good and you've achieved an interesting effect, but no 2 in particular is an absolute corker. All those complementary curves, wow

                        I didn't save it as a preset as each image was down from scratch. I can probably just go back to see what I done. I'll get back to you.
